Men’s Volleyball Student Appreciation Night

On Wednesday, March 3rd the Buckeyes host the Penn State Nittany Lions at St. John Arena at 7PM. The team wants to show its appreciation for your season-long support there will be FREE DONATOS PIZZA and the first 100 students will receive free t-shirts! As usual, the game is free for all Ohio State students so come out, enjoy delicious Donato's pizza and make St. John Arena the most terrifying venue the Nittany Lions have ever experienced!

Block “O” Elections

Block "O" elections for the 2010 Executive Board are well underway with many new exciting additions to our leaders, however we do have several spots still available for the leader in you! This Thursday, March 4th, we will be having interviews for three positions: program coordinator, competitive events coordinator, and treasurer. These will be in Journalism Bldg rm 291 starting at 7pm. We encourage you all to consider these positions and apply with the documents provided below (descriptions of each position are also available below). You can turn this in to the Block "O" office or email to Josiah at NO later than noon Wednesday. You are allowed to run for any of these, even if you've run for a previous position. Give these positions careful consideration, you could be the next leader of Block "O".

Men’s Basketball: Wear Scarlet this Saturday

The Men's Basketball team hosts M!CH!G@N this Saturday (12/27) at noon. The Buckeyes have to win in order to keep hopes for a Big Ten Title alive so bring the noise, pump up the Nuthouse and give M!CH!G@N something to be afraid of! If you have a ticket to the game but can't make it then try to sell it or give it to someone who wants to go because the Buckeyes will need a packed house.

Men's Volleyball plays the Carthage Red Men tonight Friday, February 19 at 7 PM in the Block "O" Game of the Week. Come out and help a fellow Blockie, Alex Slivinski lead Block "O" and make St. John Arena a hostile environment for the Red Men!

Journey to the Big Ten Title

Just a reminder that tonight (2/17) at 6:30 the #9 Buckeyes play the #4 Purdue Boilermakers. A win tonight will help the FIRST PLACE Buckeyes as they journey toward a Big Ten Title. Tickets are available for $10 at will call, so even if you don't have a ticket you can still support the Buckeyes. Wear Scarlet and come cheer on your Buckeyes!

Officer Meet and Greet

For those of you who couldn't make it to the meeting last week and would still like to pick up an officer application or find out what each officer position is like, Block "O" will be having an information session Wednesday (2/10) in Caldwell room 120 at 7:30PM. We will answer any questions about being a Block "O" officer and give pointers, tips, and advice on elections and will also have application forms available.

Thinking about an officer position next year?

Block "O" will hold its bi-weekly general meeting this Thursday (2/4) in EA rm170 at 7pm. The after meeting activity will be a meet greet and eat with the officers. All members will be able to talk to any and every officer to ask whatever questions they may have about being a Block "O" officer. Officers will give pointers, tips, and advice on elections and will also have application forms available.

One University, One Cause. A Buckeye Benefit Dinner for Haiti

Block "O" would like to encourage all Blockies to attend the benefit dinner for Haiti. Block "O" will be present and selling shirts to help raise money for the same cause. The benefit dinner will take place Monday, Feb. 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the RPAC’s Tom W. Davis Gym. The dinner will include pasta with marinara sauce (with or without meatballs), salad, garlic bread, and Coca Cola beverages. All food, supplies and labor are being donated, and 100% of the ticket sales will be given to the American Red Cross for relief efforts in Haiti. The $10 event tickets are available at the Ohio Union and RPAC information desks or may be purchased at the door.
